So, wow! What an interesting time we are living through right now.
When it first started, it didn’t seem real. I continued to live my life and do what I needed to do. It didn’t really hit home until I went to the grocery store. All the produce section was empty, the toilet paper aisle was also bare. I was grateful that I eat organic food, so there was still some of that left. It seemed divine, but everything I needed there were at least two left. In the midst of the empty grocery store, my panic started to show up. I was tempted to go crazy buying things. I had to take a deep breath and began to think…what did I really need. I have enough meat frozen, so I needed frozen veggies, fruit and dry goods like organic soups, grains etc. I spent a little more than usual, but I didn’t go crazy. Luckily, (or divinely) I have plenty of toilet paper…lol.
However, as they continue to close things here in my town. I find it is tempting to fall into a feeling of uncertainty and fear. I cannot live in that place. So, as I was talking to my friends daily on the phone, I began to feel hope. I feel hope that this is not the end of the world. This is an opportunity to spend time with ourselves, connect to the universe and find out who we are (as individuals and as a people).
This is not a time to give in to panic, anger, frustration and resentment. This is a time to keep our vibration high. Viruses are low vibration. When we allow our vibrations to go low, we attract low vibration things. So, in keeping our vibration high, it is a spiritual inoculation against the virus. I am NOT saying that you shouldn’t take physical precautions against the virus, such as washing your hands and sneezing/coughing into your elbow…just this is extra protection. I sat with myself for a while and came up with a list of things that I can do daily to maintain my high vibration and my relationships with those I love (which is pretty much everyone). I decided to write a blog about these things as I do them, to provide hope for others and give ideas of how we can all maintain our high vibration and/or raise our vibration.
When I talk about vibrations, I am speaking of the fact that emotions cause our vibrations. Our energy fields (fueled by our energy centers or chakras) vibrate at different frequencies. Emotions like anger, resentment, revenge, jealousy, blame, guilt, shame etc. are low vibration emotions that all stem from fear. On the other hand, emotions like kindness, compassion, joy and peace are high vibration emotions that stem from love. I choose love!
There are many things we can do to maintain our high vibration through this time of panic and uncertainty. I am planning to write this blog series to outline what I am doing daily to maintain my high vibration and to hopefully provide ideas for you to maintain your high vibration. I will be talking about everything from meditation to yoga to relationships to gratitude to eating healthy to finding your life purpose.
It is my intent that this will resonate with the collective and provide hope, light, love and direction in this time of low vibration, fear and uncertainty.
